Alisa Crovetti, PhD
Dr. Crovetti is a licensed psychologist and certificated school psychologist with over 30 years experience providing neuropsychological assessments, psychotherapy, and parent consultation in schools and outpatient settings. In private practice, she provides assessments for individuals age 5 and older and psychotherapy for ages 12 and older. For parents, she provides consultation in understanding how to best support their child’s unique learning and behavioral profiles and/or how to navigate the school system and best advocate for school-based assessments, accommodations, and interventions.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Crovetti currently serves on the training committee of the UC Berkeley Psychology Internship Consortium (B-PIC), which places and oversees training of pre-doctoral interns, from a national pool, in APA and APPIC accredited school-based internship sites. Since 2011 she has served as the training director and clinical supervisor at a nationally recognized Bay Area public school-based health center (SBHC), training interns in psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Previously, she served for 15 years as a school psychologist in a large urban Bay Area school district. She is currently an assistant clinical professor in psychology in UC Berkeley's Clinical Science graduate program, teaching courses in neuropsychological assessment and supervising graduate students. In the past she served as clinical faculty in UC Berkeley’s Graduate Program in School Psychology where she taught courses in developmental psychopathology, adolescent development, and law and ethics for psychologists and provided clinical supervision for graduate students conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments through the UC Berkeley Psychology Clinic and Schwab Dyslexia and Cognitive Diversity Center.
