Elaine Hua Luo, PhD

Elaine Hua Luo, PhD, holds a doctorate in Education with a specialization in School Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her Master of Education in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Elaine has extensive experience conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments under supervision in a variety of settings, including public school districts, a children’s hospital, and a university-based mental health clinic. She has also contributed to forensic neuropsychological evaluations through comprehensive records reviews, report writing, and direct assessment under the supervision of Dr. Alisa Crovetti. Over the past two years, she has provided psychotherapy to adolescents from diverse backgrounds and with a range of needs.

As a researcher, Elaine has published several articles focused on adolescent development and well-being. Beginning in Fall 2025, she will work as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology at public state university, where she looks forward to training future school psychologists, counselors, and researchers.
